Return & Refund Policy

To protect the rights and interests of both our customers and our store, please read the following policy carefully before placing any order. By completing a purchase on this website, you fully agree to and accept all terms of this policy without reservation.

This policy applies to all products sold by Amp Audio HK, whether online or offline.

 

1. Absolute Principle – No Returns or Refunds

All confirmed and paid orders are final, non-returnable, and non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to:​

  1. Change of mind

  2.  Wrong model, size, colour, or specification selected by the customer

  3.  Personal dissatisfaction with sound quality, appearance, or performance

  4. Finding a cheaper price elsewhere

  5. Incompatibility with the customer’s existing equipment or system

  6. Delay in delivery (unless caused by Amp Audio HK’s proven gross negligence)

  7. Once an order is processed, paid, ora shipped, order cancellation is strictly not accepted.

  8. As we specialise in professional audio equipment (high-value, sensitive, and hygiene-critical products), we maintain a strict no-return policy to protect product integrity, hygiene, and authenticity.

2. Extremely Limited Exception – Manufacturing Defects Only

We will only consider a claim under the following strict cumulative conditions:

The product arrives with a clear and obvious manufacturing defect or shipping damage that is not caused by the customer, courier mishandling after handover, or improper unpacking.

The customer must notify us within 48 hours of actual receipt via WhatsApp (+852 6339 4551) or email (info@ampaudio.hk).

The notification must include:

  1. Full order number

  2. Clear, high-resolution photos and videos showing: outer packaging, all seals, shipping labels, the product itself from multiple angles, and the specific defect

  3. All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and seals must remain completely intact and unused

  4. Amp Audio HK reserves the sole and absolute right to approve or reject any claim after inspection.

If the claim is accepted:

We may require the customer to return the product for inspection at the customer’s sole cost and risk.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed by us, we will, at our sole discretion, choose one of the following remedies only:

  1. Repair​

  2. Replacement with the same model (subject to stock availability)

  3. Store credit or partial compensation

  4. Cash refunds are never offered under any circumstances.

3. Situations Explicitly Excluded from Any Return or Claim

The following cases will never be accepted, and any related claims will be automatically rejected:

  1. Product has been opened, used, installed, tested, or is missing any original packaging, seals, or accessories

  2. Damage caused by improper use, modification, collision, liquid exposure, power surge, fire, or any external factor

  3. Notification made after the 48-hour window

  4. Sale, clearance, promotional, demo, or open-box items

  5. Custom-made, personalised, or special-order products (including but not limited to custom cables)

  6. Any product that shows signs of customer handling beyond normal inspection

  7. Claims based on subjective preference, sound signature, or system matching

4. Costs and Risks

All costs related to any return (including round-trip shipping, packaging, insurance, and any related expenses) shall be borne entirely by the customer.

Amp Audio HK shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, or delay occurring during the return shipping process. Risk of loss remains with the customer until the product is received and inspected by us.

5. Warranty & After-Sales Support

All products are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty only.
Warranty terms, duration, and coverage are determined solely by the manufacturer.

Amp Audio HK provides lifetime technical support for products purchased from us.
Warranty claims must be processed according to the manufacturer’s procedures. We act only as a facilitator and are not the warrantor.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Amp Audio HK’s total liability arising from any product or transaction shall not exceed the original purchase price paid by the customer.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or system downtime.

7. Final Interpretation and Governing Law

Amp Audio HK reserves the exclusive and final right of interpretation, modification, and application of this policy at any time without prior notice.

In case of any dispute, the decision of Amp Audio HK shall be final and binding.

This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.​
